Trận Man City vs QPR, đội chủ nhà cần có được chiến thắng nhằm tiếp tục cùng Arsenal cạnh tranh ngôi vị Á quân.


Sau trận thua 2-4 trên sân Old Trafford của Man United, thầy trò HLV Pellegrini đang trở lại mạnh mẽ với 3 chiến thắng liên tiếp. Giành trọn 9 điểm trước West Ham, Aston Villa và Tottenham giúp Man City vươn từ vị trí thứ 4 lên vị trí thứ 2 trên BXH. Dù đang có cùng 70 điểm như Arsenal đội xếp thứ 3, tuy nhiên Man xanh xếp trên do hơn về chỉ số phụ. Do đã chính thức để mất ngôi vương vào tay Chelsea nên nhiệm vụ của đội bóng chủ sân Etihad trong phần còn lại của mùa giải là cạnh tranh ngôi vị Á quân với Pháo thủ. Đội bóng của HLV Wenger đang có lợi thế khi vẫn còn trong tay một trận chưa đấu. Do vậy, muốn vượt qua Arsenal nửa xanh thành Manchester cần giành chiến thắng ở 3 trận đấu cuối cùng.
Man City có lợi thế rất lớn trước QPR
