Solskjaer đã có một khởi đầu hoàn hảo kể từ khi đến dẫn dắt Man Untied thay thế Mourinho. Thậm chí, anh còn cân bằng kỷ lục khởi đầu tốt nhất trên cương vị HLV Quỷ đỏ của Sir Matt Busby.

Solskjaer đã thay đổi những gì?

Solskjaer giúp MU lấy lại hình ảnh tấn công phóng khoáng như xưa

Nhà cầm quân 45 tuổi làm một động tác rất đơn giản là lựa chọn một hệ thống phù hợp với các cầu thủ. Pogba được trao quyền tự do thể hiện mình trên hàng công. Và Marcus Rashford thì có cơ hội thử sức trong vai trò tiền đạo cắm.

Bộ tứ trên hàng công được tự do thay đổi vị trí để làm các pha tấn công của đội bóng thêm khó lường. Nhờ vậy, họ thường chọn vị trí gần nhau hơn để dễ phối hợp.

Rashford vươn lên nhanh chóng dưới thời Solskjaer

Cách Solskjaer xây dựng đội hình đồng nghĩa rằng Rashford nhận được nhiều sự hỗ trợ hơn. Nhờ vậy, những màn trình diễn của cầu thủ trẻ người Anh đã được cải thiện và cầu thủ này cũng trở nên tự tin hơn.

Dưới thời Mourinho, Rashford ra sân 14 lần, trong đó có 9 lần nằm trong đội hình xuất phát. Trung bình anh có 1 cú sút mỗi trận và tạo ra 1 cơ hội mỗi trận. Phải mất trung bình đến 283 phút, Rashford mới ghi được 1 bàn thắng.

Nhưng đến thời Solskjaer, mọi chuyện đã thay đổi chóng mặt. Rashford được ưu ái giao vị trí tiền đạo cắm và lập tức đền đáp lại niềm tin của ông thầy. Anh xuất phát cả 4 trận ở Premier League dưới thời Solskjaer và là ngòi nổ quan trọng nhất của MU.
