Chelsea: Đã đến lúc để thả “mãnh thú” Cuadrado?

Đội hình của Chelsea đang sứt mẻ một cách nghiêm trọng và có lẽ đã đến lúc HLV Jose Mourinho đưa bản hợp đồng “bom tấn” Juan Cuadrado vào sân.

Chelsea vừa có chiến thắng quan trọng 2-1 trước Aston Villa ở vòng 24 Premier League để gia tăng khoảng cách với đối thủ Manchester City lên thành 7 điểm, thế nhưng có lẽ các CĐV của The Blues chẳng thể vui vẻ với cách thầy trò HLV Jose Mourinho giành chiến thắng. Trước một đối thủ chỉ đứng ở nhóm trụ hạng của Premier League, đoàn quân áo xanh đã thể hiện một lối đá nhạt nhoà và chỉ có thể giành chiến thắng nhờ vào khả năng chớp cơ hội tuyệt vời của Eden Hazard và Branislav Ivanovic. Đêm nay khi phải tiếp đón một đối thủ nặng ký hơn nhiều là Everton, chắc chắn đội chủ nhà cần có một phương án mới để cải thiện lối chơi của mình.

Cuadrado sẽ là quân bài giúp Chelsea vượt khó

Trong trận đấu hôm thứ Bảy vừa qua, có thể nói hàng công của đội đầu bảng Premier League đã phụ thuộc quá nhiều vào Eden Hazard và trên thực tế anh cũng không thể một mình cáng đáng nhiệm vụ giành chiến thắng cho đội nhà. Trong tình cảnh đó có lẽ cầu thủ người Bỉ cần một đối trọng ở cánh đối diện để san sẻ gánh nặng, nhưng Willian vốn chỉ là một cầu thủ thi đấu ở mức tròn vai và chưa bao giờ được xem lại nhân tố có thể tạo nên đột biến trong đội hình của Chelsea. Thêm vào đó, ở trận đấu đêm qua Everton sẽ đón chào sự trở lại của hậu vệ kỳ cựu Leighton Baines, vì thế hướng tấn công bên cánh phải của đội chủ sân Stamford Bridge sẽ còn gặp khó khăn hơn nhiều. Phải chăng giờ là lúc thích hợp để Juan Cuadrado có tên trong đội hình xuất phát?

Tân binh của Chelsea là người được chờ đợi nhất sau khi TTCN mùa đông năm nay khép lại và đã có nhiều ý kiến cho rằng anh sẽ được đá chính ngay trong trận đấu với Aston Villa. Thế nhưng trên thực tế HLV Mourinho vẫn cất quân bài mới của mình trên băng ghế dự bị và để Willian đá chính. Không thể phủ nhận rằng cầu thủ người Brazil đã có những thời điểm chơi cố gắng và cũng có được 2 cú dứt điểm cùng 2 pha chuyền bóng tạo cơ hội cho đồng đội, nhưng từng đó là chưa đủ để tạo ra sự khác biệt. Kết quả là Chelsea thi đấu bế tắc và chỉ có được chiến thắng nhờ vào những tình huống toả sáng cá nhân. Người đặc biệt đã sai lầm một lần trong việc chọn người một lần và thiết nghĩ đây là lúc để ông sửa chữa điều đó. Nếu như tung Cuadrado vào sân, có thể thấy rõ là Chelsea sẽ có thêm một mũi khoan cực kỳ lợi hại bên cánh phải. Khả năng bứt tốc cũng như sức rướn của cầu thủ người Colombia là vượt trội hơn hẳn so với Willian và điều này có thể sẽ đánh thẳng vào điểm yếu của Leighton Baines ở bên kia chiến tuyến. Hậu vệ kỳ cựu này năm nay đã 31 tuổi và anh không còn giữ được sự dẻo dai như thời kỳ đỉnh cao nữa. Sự xuống sức của Baines cùng với Phil Jagielka là một trong những nguyên nhân khiến cho Everton không còn giữ được phong độ như năm ngoái và đây có thể là cơ hội cho đội chủ nhà Chelsea.

Kể từ đầu mùa tới giờ, yếu tố cân bằng luôn là điều được HLV Mourinho coi trọng trong đội hình của Chelsea. Tất cả các cầu thủ, đặc biệt là các tiền vệ cần phải thi đấu công thủ toàn diện để góp phần vào lối chơi chung của cả đội. Về khoản này Willian rõ ràng trội hơn Cuadrado khi anh bọc lót khá tốt cho Ivanovic ở biên phải và đó cũng là lý do mà HLV Mourinho chọn cầu thủ số 22 như một giải pháp an toàn trong trận gặp Aston Villa cuối tuần trước. Tuy nhiên đây có lẽ không phải là điều mà đội chủ sân Stamford Bridge cần nhất vào lúc này bởi lẽ họ đang rơi vào tình trạng thừa thủ thiếu công. Với việc thiếu vắng cả Diego Costa cùng Cesc Fabregas, sức tấn công của đại diện thành London đã bị giảm sút rõ rệt, trong khi đó khu trung tuyến lại thừa các nhân tố hỗ trợ phòng ngự với sự có mặt của Ramires bên cạnh Nemanja Matic. Đã đến lúc để ưu tiên những cầu thủ có thiên hướng tấn công trong đội hình xuất phát, và nếu chiếu theo góc độ này thì Cuadrado mới là cái tên nên được lựa chọn vào lúc này.

Cuối cùng, một lý do nữa có thể khiến HLV Mourinho cho bản hợp đồng “bom tấn” của mình ra sân ngay từ đầu, đó chính là yếu tố bất ngờ. Ở trận đấu lượt đi, hàng thủ của Everton đã bị xé toang khi họ vấp phải sức tấn công quá khủng khiếp của cặp bài trùng Costa-Fabregas. Thời điểm đầu mùa đó, sự kết hợp của bộ đôi này còn khá mới mẻ và HLV Roberto Martinez rõ ràng đã lúng túng trong việc tìm ra lời giải hữu hiệu cho hàng thủ Everton, kết quả là The Toffees phải hứng chịu tới 6 bàn thua ngay trên sân nhà Goodison Park. Đêm nay chuyện tương tự hoàn toàn có thể xảy ra bởi khả năng của Cuadrado tới đâu vẫn còn là một ẩn số với mọi đối thủ ở giải Ngoại hạng. Biết đâu chính yếu tố bất ngờ này sẽ đem lại thành công rực rỡ cho đoàn quân áo xanh giống như ở trận lượt đi thì sao?

Nói chung, đội hình của Chelsea đang thiếu đi một nhân tố để chia lửa cùng Hazard trên hàng công và có thể Juan Cuadrado sẽ là phương án khả dĩ cho HLV Mourinho vào lúc này. Anh đã có khoảng 10 phút để làm quen với môi trường bóng đá Anh quốc trong trận đấu cuối tuần trước và giờ là lúc thích hợp để cầu thủ này chứng tỏ giá trị của một “bom tấn” trên TTCN mùa đông vừa qua.
