Mặc dù không hiện tên trên bảng tỉ số nhưng có thể khẳng định rằng David Silva chính là ngôi sao chơi tốt nhất của Man City trước Sunderland ở trận đấu trên sân “Ánh sáng” vừa qua.

So với đội hình xuất phát ở trận gặp Huddersfield Town hồi giữa tuần, HLV Pep Guardiola đã tạo ra tới 5 sự thay đổi trong chuyến làm khách tới sân của Sunderland ở vòng 27 Premier League. Đáng chú ý nhất là De Bruyne bất ngờ bị đẩy lên ghế dự bị và người đảm nhận khâu sáng tạo cũng như phân phối bóng của Man City.

Trái ngược với kết quả tồi tệ mà HLV Wenger phải đón nhận khi để ngôi sao sáng nhất đội là Sanchez trên ghế dự bị, Pep Guardiola đã nhận được những kết quả tích cực từ quyết định tin tưởng Silva. Tiền vệ người Tây Ban Nha đã có một trận đấu cực kỳ thành công và thậm chí còn được trang Manchester Evening News chấm điểm cao nhất trận.
Silva có một trận đấu thành công trước Sunderland

Trong hiệp đấu đầu tiên, những đóng góp của Silva cho lối chơi tấn công của Man City không quá rõ ràng. Số cú sút mà The Citizens tạo ra trong 45 phút đầu tiên chỉ là dừng lại ở con số 4, thậm chí còn ít hơn cả Sunderland. Và dĩ nhiên, những cơ hội nguy hiểm nhất của hiệp đấu này cũng thuộc về “Mèo đen”.

Dẫu vậy, Silva cũng để lại ít nhiều dấu ấn với những pha di chuyển thông minh. Anh suýt trở thành người đem về bàn mở tỉ số cho Man xanh nếu như đường căng ngang của Sane nhẹ và chính xác hơn đôi chút. Ở những phút cuối hiệp, Silva cũng bị trọng tài tước đi một bàn thắng hợp lệ cho dù đã dứt điểm trong tư thế không việt vị.

Bước sang hiệp hai, Silva thi đấu bùng nổ hơn rất nhiều và điều đó cũng giúp cho những pha tấn công của Man City trở nên sáng sủa hơn hẳn. Sau khi hiệp hai bắt đầu được ít lâu, Silva đã tung ra một cú sút hiểm hóc và Sunderland chỉ thoát thua nhờ tài phản xạ xuất thần của Pickford. Không hề nao núng, tiền vệ 31 tuổi tiếp tục hoạt động không biết mệt mỏi và tạo ra vô số nguy hiểm về phía khung thành đội chủ nhà.

Đến phút 59, Silva đã có một tình huống “đánh hơi” khoảng trống cực kỳ thông minh để tạo ra một pha phản công khó chịu cho Man xanh. Sau khi đón được đường chuyền của đồng đội, cầu thủ người Tây Ban Nha bắt đầu “mở tốc” và đưa bóng áp sát khung thành Sunderland. Một pha chọc khe chính xác của Silva đã mở ra cơ hội dứt điểm cho Sane và cầu thủ người Đức đã dứt điểm tốt để mang về bàn thắng nhân đôi cách biệt cho The Citizens. Mặc dù tốc độ và khả năng dứt điểm của Sane mới là yếu tố chính dẫn đến bàn thắng này nhưng rõ ràng vai trò then chốt của Silva là không thể xem thường. Trong hiệp đấu này, Silva còn tạo ra được hai cơ hội ăn bàn khác nhưng các đồng đội không thể tận dụng.

Thống kê cho thấy, Silva là cầu thủ chạm bóng nhiều thứ hai bên phía Man City với 106 lần, chỉ thua đúng Kolarov (115 lần). Tỉ lệ chuyền bóng thành công của “nhạc trưởng” người Tây Ban Nha cũng lên đến 94%. Silva cũng là người tung ra được nhiều đường chuyền nhất bên phần sân đối phương (53). Và khả năng điều phối bóng xuất sắc này của Silva khiến cho hàng thủ Sunderland liên tục bị kéo giãn. Có thể khẳng định rằng tiền vệ 31 tuổi chính là chiếc chìa khóa quan trọng giúp Man City giải mã hệ thống phòng ngự “nồi đồng cối đá” của đội chủ sân “Ánh sáng” để có thể giành trọn vẹn ba điểm.
Khả năng chuyền bóng của Silva là vô cùng ấn tượng

Kể từ khi ra mắt Premier League đến nay, David Silva đã đóng góp tới 62 đường chuyền thành bàn cho Man City. Người có thành tích kiến tạo tốt nhất trong khoảng thời gian này là Rooney cũng thua Silva tới 11 đường chuyền thành bàn. Việc sở hữu trong đội hình một cầu thủ dày dạn kinh nghiệm, đồng thời có những đóng góp tốt như tiền vệ người Tây Ban Nha là điều mà có lẽ bất kỳ HLV nào cũng mong muốn.

Có lẽ đó cũng là lý do khiến HLV Pep Guardiola phải chạy tới ôm chầm lấy Silva sau khi trận cầu khó khăn trước Sunderland kết thúc.
