Hàng tiền vệ “kim cương” sẽ giúp M.U giải quyết bài toán "thừa" nhân sự

Sau giai đoạn khởi đầu có phần chệch choạc, không ít người đã tỏ ra khá lo lắng về sơ đồ chiến thuật 3-5-2 mà HLV Louis van Gaal đang áp dụng tại Manchester United. Đầu tiên, hãy đề cập đến bộ ba trung phong Van Persie, Rooney và tân binh Falcao. Khi đó, Quỷ đỏ sẽ tận dụng được tối đa “bộ ba nguyên tử” Rooney-Falcao-Persie. Thế nhưng, câu hỏi lại được đặt ra là Mata sẽ chơi ở đâu, rồi còn cả Di Maria, tân binh đắt giá được mang về từ “phiên chợ hè”. Ngoài ra, trong sơ đồ 3-5-2, hai vị trí wing-back (cầu thủ chạy cánh) cũng đòi hỏi những cầu thủ chạy biên phải sở hữu nền tảng thể lực tốt cùng khả năng lên công về thủ tương đối toàn diện. Xét trên các tiêu chí này, Mata chắc chắn không thể đá cánh trong hệ thống của Van Gaal. Còn với Di Maria, mặc dù là một tiền vệ có lối chơi khá năng nổ nhưng anh cũng không thực sự phù hợp bởi vị trí này sẽ làm hạn chế khả năng sáng tạo cũng như gây đột biến của ngôi sao người Argentina.

Như vậy, trong trường hợp Quỷ đỏ có đầy đủ nhân sự, chắc chắn đây sẽ là một bài toán khó dành cho HLV Van Gaal khi lựa chọn đội hình xuất phát. Sơ đồ 3-5-2 xét trên lý thuyết đã rút bớt 1 hậu vệ để tăng cường cho tuyến giữa, nghĩa là phù hợp với tình trạng “thừa công thiếu thủ” của M.U. Tuy nhiên, thực tế, những yêu cầu về 2 vị trí chạy cánh lại chẳng hề đơn giản. Giải pháp 4-1-2-1-2

Hiện tại, ý kiến đang được đa số giới chuyên môn ủng hộ chính là phương án đưa Man Utd quay trở lại với sơ đồ chiến thuật 4 hậu vệ như trước kia, vốn hết sức quen thuộc tại môi trường bóng đá Anh. Trong quá khứ, Quỷ đỏ cũng thường giành được thành công nhờ hệ thống “tủ” 4-4-2 và một số biến thể hiện đại hơn như 4-2-3-1 hay 4-4-1-1. Thế nhưng, nếu áp dụng các sơ đồ này, HLV Van Gaal sẽ không thể tận dụng được tối đa các nhân tố chất lượng mà mình đang sở hữu trong tay. Hoặc Mata, hoặc Carrick, hoặc Shaw hay Blind, đều có thể bị mất vị trí.

Mặc dù vậy, vẫn tồn tại một giải pháp cho đội bóng chủ sân Old Trafford, tuy không thực sự hoàn hảo nhưng xét trên nhiều khía cạnh sẽ là tương đối phù hợp với thầy trò HLV Van Gaal vào thời điểm này. Đó chính là hệ thống chiến thuật 4-1-2-1-2 với hàng tiền vệ “kim cương”.
