Herrera: “Chất xúc tác” cần thiết cho hàng tiền vệ M.U

Khi mà hàng tiền vệ M.U đang được vận hành ổn định dựa trên một bộ khung tuyến giữa tương đối hoàn thiện thì Ander Herrera chính là “chất xúc tác” cần thiết kết dính các mắt xích trong đội hình Quỷ đỏ.

Trải qua giai đoạn lượt đi thi đấu có phần chệch choạc, dường như HLV Louis van Gaal cũng bắt đầu tìm ra công thức chiến thắng dành cho đội bóng chủ sân Old Trafford. Liên tiếp trong hai trận thắng gần nhất trước Tottenham (3-0) và Liverpool (2-1), nhà cầm quân người Hà Lan đều sử dụng một bộ khung đội hình xuất phát. Dễ dàng nhận thấy rằng, với sơ đồ chiến thuật 4-1-4-1, lối chơi của Quỷ đỏ cũng được vận hành một cách tương đối linh hoạt và hiệu quả. Bằng một hàng tiền vệ cơ động, chủ động kiểm soát bóng hiệu quả, M.U đã tấn công đơn giản hơn nhưng các tình huống lên bóng lại trở nên tốc độ và giàu tính trực diện.

Những ngày vừa qua, giới chuyên môn đã đề cập khá nhiều đến vai trò của tuyến giữa đội bóng thành Manchester như một tác nhân quan trọng nhất quyết định trực tiếp đến việc thầy trò HLV Van Gaal thi đấu thăng hoa trong khoảng thời gian gần đây. Từ Marouane Fellaini, Juan Mata cho đến Michael Carrick, đều là những cái tên thi đấu nổi bật và hiệu quả hơn cả. Mặc dù vậy, ở một góc độ có phần công bằng và khách quan hơn, có lẽ người hâm mộ Quỷ đỏ cũng nên dành tặng sự khen ngợi đối với Ander Herrera, cầu thủ thi đấu tương đối thầm lặng nhưng lại là “chất keo” cần thiết giúp cho hàng tiền vệ M.U trở nên gắn kết và hoạt động mạch lạc hơn.

Đầu tiên, cần phải nhấn mạnh rằng, dù xuất phát ở vị trí tiền vệ tấn công trong đội hình 4-1-4-1 của HLV Van Gaal nhưng ngôi sao người Tây Ban Nha lại không thường xuyên dâng cao như Fellaini. Thay vào đó, anh chủ yếu hoạt động ở khu vực trung tuyến, làm nhiệm vụ tổ chức, điều tiết lối chơi cùng Michael Carrick. Ngoài ra, trong rất nhiều thời điểm, cựu cầu thủ Athletic Bilbao cũng sẵn sàng chủ động lùi xuống khá sâu để trực tiếp tham gia vào khâu tranh chấp, hỗ trợ phòng ngự từ xa nhằm giảm tải sức ép cho “lão tướng” người Anh. Thống kê cho thấy, ở trận thắng Liverpool cách đây ít ngày, Herrera chính là cầu thủ thực hiện thành công nhiều pha tắc bóng (7 lần) và đánh chặn (4 lần) nhất bên phía đội bóng thành Manchester.

Trên mặt trận tấn công, mặc dù không phải mẫu tiền vệ sở hữu kỹ thuật đi bóng thượng thừa như Di Maria, cũng không quá “mềm mại” như Mata nhưng Herrera lại luôn luôn biết cách đem đến sự đột biến cho hàng công Quỷ đỏ bằng những đường chuyền sắc bén và trực diện. Minh chứng rõ nét hơn cả, không gì khác chính là pha kiến tạo vô cùng tinh tế của cầu thủ 25 tuổi giúp Mata lập công mở tỷ số ở trận thắng Liverpool cuối tuần vừa rồi. Trong suốt cả trận, Herrera đã thực hiện được tổng cộng 60 đường chuyền, với tỷ lệ chính xác lên đến gần 87%. Đáng chú ý, tiền vệ người Tây Ban Nha cũng chính là cầu thủ tạo ra nhiều cơ hội nhất bên phía M.U với 2 đường chuyền quan trọng cho các đồng đội.

Như vậy, đồng nghĩa rằng, trong vai trò của một “số 8 rưỡi”, Herrera không chỉ tấn công hay mà còn phòng ngự hết sức hiệu quả. Hãy thử làm một phép so sánh đơn giản, nếu như Fellaini mang đến “chất cơ học” cũng như sức chiến đấu cần thiết cho hàng tiền vệ M.U, Ashley Young đem lại tốc độ, với Mata là những pha xử lý mượt mà, thanh thoát còn "lão tướng" Carrick giữ vai trò cầm nhịp… thì Herrera chính là sự tổng hòa của tất cả các yếu tố này. Nói chính xác hơn nữa thì ở cựu ngôi sao Bilbao, gần như đã hội tụ đầy đủ mọi phẩm chất vừa nêu trên. Do đó, xét trên một phương diện tổng thể thì Herrera chính là thứ “chất xúc tác” quan trọng hơn cả giúp cho tuyến giữa của đội bóng chủ sân Old Trafford có thể vận hành một cách linh hoạt và ổn định như bây giờ.

Mùa giải 2014/2015 đang bước vào giai đoạn cực kỳ then chốt, mang nhiều tính chất quyết định. Bản thân HLV Van Gaal, sau không ít những thời điểm gặp khó khăn và tưởng chừng như đã rơi vào trạng thái khủng hoảng ngay từ chính triết lý của mình, có lẽ cũng đang bắt đầu tìm ra các phương án phù hợp nhất đối với M.U. Chứng kiến Quỷ đỏ thi đấu ấn tượng trong một vài trận vừa qua, đương nhiên cũng không khó để nhận ra sự khác biệt đáng kể. Từ một đội bóng chỉ biết cầm bóng luẩn quẩn rồi chuyền dài theo kiểu “vô định” như cách đây vài tháng, M.U đã chấp nhận chơi bóng ngắn nhiều hơn đồng thời tỏ ra đơn giản và trực diện hơn trong những tình huống tổ chức tấn công của mình. Về phần Ander Herrera, trong vai trò của một nhân tố “xúc tác” nơi trung tuyến, cầu thủ người Tây Ban Nha có lẽ cũng hoàn toàn xứng đáng nhận được những lời khen ngợi tích cực…
