Trong bối cảnh tuyến tiền đạo gặp khủng hoảng vì chấn thương, rất có thể giải pháp sử dụng đội hình 4-6-0 sẽ là lời giải hợp lý dành cho hàng công Man City vào thời điểm này.

Về phần Milner, đây cũng mới chỉ là lần đầu tiên ngôi sao người Anh được thử nghiệm trong vai trò của một “số 9 ảo”. Đương nhiên, việc cầu thủ 28 tuổi tỏ ra bỡ ngỡ cũng hoàn toàn dễ hiểu. Mặc dù vậy, sau những màn trình diễn tích cực của Milner, người hâm mộ đội bóng chủ sân Etihad cũng có thể tin tưởng rằng anh sẽ còn tiến bộ hơn trong các trận đấu sắp tới.
