Man City thắng 4 vòng liên tiếp: Không Yaya Toure, đã có Silva

Thời tiết giá lạnh ở Anh đòi hỏi phải có những ngôi sao tỏa sáng để sưởi ấm cho các khán giả. Manchester City chắc chắn có một người như vậy: David Silva.

Trước hết, phải nói về thế trận kiểm soát hoàn toàn của Man City, mà Silva rõ ràng là nhân tố chủ chốt. Anh ghi bàn thắng sớm mở tỉ số và vào cuối trận lại lập công, chưa kể bỏ lỡ một cơ hội lập hat-trick khá ngon ăn. Nhưng thống kê không chỉ bao gồm những bàn thắng. Ở Etihad tối thứ Bảy, Silva có 60 đường chuyền, nhiều hơn bất cứ cầu thủ nào khác trên sân. Trong số đó, 92% đi đúng địa chỉ. Tiền vệ người TBN cũng tạo ra 6 cơ hội ghi bàn cho các đồng đội, lại là nhiều nhất trên sân và ghi cả 2 bàn trong chiến thắng dễ dàng, nhưng rất quan trọng của Man City. Một lần nữa, Silva là người ghi bàn nhiều nhất.

Tràng pháo tay vang dội của các CĐV đứng hết cả lên trên những khán đài Etihad khi Silva rời sân ở phút 88 là bằng chứng rõ ràng về vai trò của tiền vệ này với đội bóng của HLV Roberto Mancini, người đã không giấu được nụ cười mãn nguyện trong khu kỹ thuật khi Man City có chiến thắng thứ 5 liên tiếp kể từ thảm họa ở sân Ánh sáng trong ngày Boxing Day. Norwich, Stoke, Arsenal và Watford đã được điền tên vào danh sách dài những bại tướng của nhà đương kim vô địch kể từ hôm đó, với tổng cộng 14 bàn nã vào lưới đối phương. Ngoài ra, chỉ 3 bàn do Norwich ghi ở Carrow Road, trong một trận đấu rất điển hình của Hoàng yến mùa này, mới khiến cho thành tích đó có chút tì vết.

Man City đã bắt đầu năm mới rất thuận lợi. Phong độ mùa trước vẫn chưa trở lại, nhưng khả năng giành thắng lợi hết trận này đến trận khác vẫn còn đó, miễn là Silva có mặt trên sân. Mancini đã quyết định không đưa Samir Nasri và Sergio Aguero, vừa trở lại sau chấn thương, vào đội hình xuất phát, mà vẫn giữ nguyên 11 người đá chính đã chơi rất tốt và đánh bại Arsenal tuần trước. Và HLV người Italia đã đúng, nhất là ở việc tin tưởng vào Silva.

Chuyến làm khách của Fulham có không ít chất lãng mạn (dù những gì diễn ra trên sân có lẽ là buồn ngủ nhiều hơn). Các cặp đôi cũ từng một thời tỏa sáng bên nhau, Carlos Tevez và Dimitar Berbatov cùng Giorgios Karagounis và Javi Garcia, giờ ở hai bên chiến tuyến. Rất nhanh chóng, Garcia và những tiền vệ đồng nghiệp ở giữa sân tỏ ra muốn nâng mối quan hệ bằng hữu cũ lên một tầm cao mới khi hai phía cứ chuyền bóng cho nhau đều đặn sau bàn mở tỉ số của Silva.

Khác biệt ở Silva

Nhưng bàn thắng sớm và đẳng cấp hơn hẳn tạo ra sự khác biệt. Các khoảng trống xuất hiện nhiều hơn cho đội chủ nhà nhờ sự cơ động quen thuộc của Silva. Tiền vệ người TBN là chiếc chìa khóa giúp đội chủ nhà duy trì lối chơi dâng cao, nhiều sức ép và khiến Fulham mất bóng liên tục. Tuy nhiên, bản thân nhiều cầu thủ áo xanh cũng không có một ngày đẹp trời, khiến trận đấu diễn ra như một trận bóng bàn. Trong những tình huống như vậy, sự khác biệt nằm ở các cá nhân, và nói về cá nhân, thì Man City có David Silva, ở đẳng cấp hoàn toàn khác so với các tiền vệ Fulham. Trong khi Gareth Barry và James Milner nỗ lực một cách tuyệt vọng để giúp các CĐV nhà quên đi Yaya Toure đang ở nam bán cầu, Javi Garcia chơi rất thiếu sáng tạo, dễ đoán và hoàn toàn không có cảm hứng. Tevez, Gael Clichy và Pablo Zabaleta thay phiên nhau đuổi theo bóng khi nó vẫn còn ở sâu bên phần sân Fulham, nhưng tất cả cơ bắp của họ vẫn không sánh được với bộ não và trí tưởng tượng của Silva. Tuy nhiên, điều đó càng cho thấy Man City nguy hiểm ra sao. Chỉ cần một ngày đẹp trời của Silva là họ thắng trận. Nếu như có thêm vài cầu thủ trên hàng công của đội chủ nhà cũng đạt phong độ như thế, trận đấu có lẽ đã được định đoạt từ lâu.
