Mikel và Fabregas: Lời giải cho bài toán tuyến giữa của Chelsea

(Bongda24h.vn) - Ở trận thắng Crystal Palace, tiền vệ John Obi Mikel đã chơi cực tốt bên cạnh Cesc Fabregas. Dường như HLV Hiddink đã tìm ra cặp tiền vệ trung tâm lý tưởng mới cho Chelsea.


Bộ đôi tiền vệ trung tâm chính là vấn đề lớn nhất bên phía Chelsea kể từ đầu mùa 2015/2016 đến giờ. Cặp Nemanja Matic và Cesc Fabregas vẫn được tin tưởng nhưng khác với mùa trước cả hai đều đồng loạt sa sút phong độ. Từ một cầu thủ xuất hiện trong ĐHTB mùa 2014/2015, Matic bỗng trở thành “tử huyệt” của The Blues. Cầu thủ người Serbia không còn là “máy quét” ở khu vực giữa sân. Matic chơi thất vọng ở mùa giải này
Mùa trước, Cesc Fabregas là cầu thủ có nhiều đường kiến tạo nhất Premier League (18 lần), nhưng mùa này anh cũng chơi rất thất vọng với chỉ 2 lần kiến tạo giúp đồng đội lập công. Trong bối cảnh cả Matic lẫn Fabregas đều đồng loạt sa sút phong độ, lối chơi của đội bóng thành London gặp vấn đề cũng hoàn toàn dễ hiểu. Thực tế cho thấy Mikel không phải mẫu “máy quét” thuần túy giống như Matic. Phong cách chơi của cầu thủ sinh năm 1987 có chút gì đó tự do và màu mè hơn. Trong vai trò của một tiền vệ trung tâm, bên cạnh nhiệm vụ thu hồi bóng cầu thủ này còn cho thấy khả năng phân phối bóng cực kỳ hiệu quả. Lối chơi của Mikel không mang đến sự an toàn tuyệt đối cho hàng thủ Chelsea giống như Matic mùa trước.
