Vài phút sau, Selecao có cơ hội ăn bàn ngon ăn nhất từ đầu trận. Bên cánh trái, Renan Lodi treo bóng sâu vào khu vực 16m50 và Jesus lao vào nỗ lực đẩy bóng sang cho Richarlison tuy nhiên trước cầu môn hoàn toàn bỏ trống và khoảng cách chưa đến 5m, tiền đạo này lại dứt điểm nối ra ngoài.
