Trong thời gian dẫn dắt Napoli, HLV Sarri thành công với hệ thống 4-3-3. Nhiều khả năng ở Stamford Bridge ông tiếp tục áp dụng hệ thống này. Với việc Chelsea mua Jorginho thành công, cầu thủ người Italia sẽ cùng với Kante là 2 tiền vệ chắc suất nơi tuyến giữa của The Blues. 
 

Cesc Fabregas được đánh giá cao về khả năng sáng tạo


Ngôi sao người Pháp sẽ đá thấp nhất hàng tiền vệ 3 người để tập trung toàn lực vào nhiệm vụ hỗ trợ phòng ngự, trong khi đó Jorginho đảm nhiệm vai trò phân phối bóng và điều tiết trận đấu. 

Cái tên còn lại sẽ đá cao nhất nơi tuyến giữa nhằm cung cấp bóng thường xuyên cho tuyến trên và thực hiện những cú dứt điểm từ xa khi có khoảng trống. Cesc Fabregas hoàn toàn phù hợp với vai trò này.
