Điểm nhấn chiến thuật Man City 0-1 M.U: Sự đơn giản "chết người" của bầy Quỷ

Không được đánh giá cao về mặt chiến thuật nhưng chính sự đơn giản đã giúp Manchester United giành chiến thắng, dù Man City mới là những người kiểm soát bóng nhiều hơn.

Sự đơn giản đáng sợ trong tấn công
 
Phải làm khách trên sân Etihad ở trận derby Manchester Man City vs M.U trước rất nhiều áp lực, HLV Louis Van Gaal không hề giấu giếm ý đồ chơi phòng ngự phản công. Trong bối cảnh Man City vắng Kompany và Otamendi, HLV Pellegrini buộc phải để Mangala đá cùng Demichelis, một trung vệ đã 35 tuổi và dấu ấn tuổi tác hằn rõ trong từng bước chạy.

Nắm được điểm yếu này, Van Gaal đã bố trí một hàng công giàu sức trẻ với bộ ba Lingard, Martial và Rashford, những cầu thủ có tốc độ, sức trẻ cũng như khả năng cơ động cao để tạo áp lực tối đa lên Demichelis. Thậm chí, Van Gaal còn lộ rõ ý đồ đánh đập mặt hàng thủ Man City khi tiếp tục bố trí Juan Mata đá giữa sân trong vai trò của một "số 10". Ở vị trí này, Mata hoàn toàn có điều kiện đưa bóng thẳng xuống để hàng công M.U
đánh đập mặt bộ đôi trung vệ Man City.
 
Bàn thắng mở tỉ số của Man Utd diễn ra theo kịch bản giống với những gì Van Gaal đã tính toán. Từ giữa sân, bóng được đẩy thẳng xuống từ trung lộ cho Rashford dùng tốc độ loại bỏ Demichelis trước khi làm bàn. Trước khi bị thay ra, Demichelis gặp rất nhiều áp lực từ hàng công đầy tốc độ của Man Utd khiến trung vệ này mắc không ít sai lầm, thậm chí còn nổi cáu gây hấn với những "chú nhóc" như Rashford hay Lingard.

Rõ ràng, Van Gaal không quá cao tay về chiến thuật trong trận này. Tuy nhiên, Man Utd của ông lại biết cách tận dụng tối đa điểm mạnh của bản thân để đánh vào điểm yếu của đối thủ nhằm giành chiến thắng Man City 0-1 M.U

 
Khu trung tuyến thép
 
Tuyến giữa của Man Utd trận này thi đấu rất hiệu quả khi HLV Van Gaal bố trí một cầu thủ có khả năng làm chủ khu trung tuyến, điều tiết bóng tốt như Carrick bên cạnh một cầu thủ có khả năng tranh chấp tốt như Schneiderlin giúp tuyến giữa của Man Utd hoạt động hiệu quả hơn. Không những thế, khi nhìn vào biểu đồ xuất hiện của các cầu thủ Man Utd, có thể thấy rõ việc Juan Mata và Lingard thường xuyên lùi xuống thấp cũng như dạt vào trung lộ hỗ trợ phòng ngự (sơ đồ).

Đây là nước cờ hay của Van Gaal khi hạn chế đất hoạt động ở khu trung tuyến của David Silva và Yaya Toure bên phía Man City. Hiệu quả có thể thấy rõ khi bộ đôi này không tạo ra được nhiều sóng gió trước khung thành "Quỷ đỏ".
 
Trong khoảng 20 phút cuối trận, HLV Van Gaal thay Juan Mata bằng Schweinsteiger, biến tuyến giữa của Man Utd ở thành lớp phòng ngự từ xa với bộ ba Schneiderlin - Carrick - Schweinsteiger đá giăng ngang. Điều này giúp Man Utd tạo nên tuyến phòng ngự hai lớp hạn chế tối đa lối vào khung thành De Gea của những cầu thủ đối phương.
 
Vấn đề từ chính Man City
 
Thực ra vấn đề không hẳn nằm ở việc Van Gaal biết khai thác, mà một phần ở chính chiến lược HLV Pellegrini áp dụng. Biết rõ đối thủ sẽ thi đấu phòng ngự phản công nhưng Man City vẫn lựa chọn lối chơi tấn công trực diện nhưng thiếu đi những biện pháp để hỗ trợ cho hàng phòng ngự. 
 
Lối chơi tấn công của đại thiếu gia thiếu đi tốc độ cũng như những ý tưởng mang tính đột biến. Dù tấn công nhiều nhưng hiệu quả của Man City rất thấp khi tung ra đến 26 cú dứt điểm nhưng chỉ 3 trong số đó trúng đích. Điều này càng tạo cơ hội cho lối chơi phòng ngự phản công của đội bóng láng giềng có đất triển khai.
