Góc kỹ thuật: M.U cần Schneiderlin hay Schweinsteiger?

Thời điểm hiện tại, cả Morgan Schneiderlin lẫn Bastian Schweinsteiger đều đang được xem là những mục tiêu hết sức quan trọng nhằm giải quyết bài toán mang tên Michael Carrick ở hàng tiền vệ M.U.

Mùa giải năm ngoái, bất kỳ ai cũng nhận thấy rằng bài toán Carrick chính là một trong những vấn đề nan giải nhất bên phía hàng tiền vệ M.U. Cụ thể, khi mà vai trò của ngôi sao người Anh đối với đội bóng thành Manchester quá quan trọng, đồng nghĩa rằng mỗi lần cựu cầu thủ Tottenhem dính chấn thương, lối chơi bên phía Quỷ đỏ cũng trở nên nhạt nhòa và ảm đạm hơn bao giờ hết. Đây cũng chính là nguyên nhân giải thích vì sao thầy trò HLV Louis van Gaal chỉ đủ sức xếp thứ 4 chung cuộc tại Premier League 2014/2015. Cho đến thời điểm hiện tại, ban lãnh đạo M.U cũng đang rất muốn chiêu mộ thêm những tân binh chất lượng ở kỳ chuyển nhượng mùa Hè năm nay để nhanh chóng giải quyết trọn vẹn bộ khung tuyến giữa, với hai cái tên tiêu biểu chính là Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton) và Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern).

Schweinsteiger đang ngày càng phải đối mặt nhiều hơn với những gánh nặng tuổi tác

Những ngày gần đây, thông tin về việc M.U theo đuổi hai ngôi sao này đã liên tục xuất hiện với tần suất dày đặc trên khắp các mặt báo châu Âu. Tuy nhiên, để tìm ra một nhân tố thực sự phù hợp đối với đội bóng chủ sân Old Trafford, xem chừng cũng không phải nhiệm vụ đơn giản. Về mặt lý thuyết, danh tiếng cũng như đẳng cấp của Schweinsteiger sẽ là yếu tố nhanh chóng cải thiện chất lượng cho đội hình Quỷ đỏ. Thế nhưng, xét ở một góc độ khác, trong bối cảnh cầu thủ người Đức đang chuẩn bị bước sang tuổi 31 và cũng không còn duy trì được phong độ đỉnh cao như vài năm trước đây, thật khó có thể tin rằng Schweini sẽ nhanh chóng thích nghi một cách trọn vẹn trong môi trường bóng đá đặc thù tại Premier League, vốn luôn đòi hỏi khắt khe về mặt thể lực và sức mạnh.

Ngược lại, cái tên Schneiderlin xem chừng sẽ là một giải pháp có phần ít “phiêu lưu” hơn dành cho ban lãnh đạo M.U. Không chỉ sở hữu kinh nghiệm chinh chiến nhiều năm ở xứ sở sương mù (trong màu áo Southampton), tiền vệ người Pháp thậm chí vẫn còn rất nhiều tiềm năng để phát triển đồng thời hoàn thiện bản thân hơn nữa trong trương lai khi mà năm nay, anh mới chỉ 25 tuổi. Đánh giá trên khía cạnh chuyên môn, Schneiderlin cũng được xem là mẫu tiền vệ mỏ neo điển hình hơn so với Schweinsteiger. Thống kê cho thấy, ở tất cả các chỉ số phòng ngự cơ bản bao gồm tắc bóng, đánh chặn, cản phá và phá bóng, ngôi sao thuộc biên chế Southampton đều vượt trội cầu thủ người Đức.

Như vậy, đồng nghĩa rằng Schneiderlin cũng hoàn toàn có thể mang đến “sức chiến đấu” cần thiết cho hàng tiền vệ M.U, một trong những nhược điểm cơ bản nhất bên phía đội bóng thành Manchester ở mùa giải vừa rồi, bởi cả Blind, Herrera lẫn Carrick đều không phải mẫu cầu thủ thực sự mạnh mẽ trong khâu tranh chấp hay đánh chặn. Cần phải nhấn mạnh thêm rằng, Schneiderlin cũng không phải dạng tiền vệ thi đấu theo kiểu một “máy quét” thuần túy. Thay vào đó, khả năng phán đoán chuẩn xác và nhãn quan chiến thuật nhạy bén mới chính là những điểm mạnh đáng kể của ngôi sao người Pháp, giúp anh luôn duy trì được sự cân bằng cần thiết cho tuyến giữa đội nhà.

Trên một phương diện khác, cá nhân Schneiderlin mặc dù kém hơn Schweinsteiger trong khoản hỗ trợ tấn công (số đường chuyền quan trọng, số cơ hội tạo ra) nhưng cần phải nhớ rằng, bản thân Carrick ở mùa giải năm ngoái cũng không hề đóng góp quá nhiều vào những bàn thắng bên phía M.U. Theo đó, cầu thủ người Anh chủ yếu chỉ tập trung làm nhiệm vụ châm ngòi cho các đợt lên bóng của thầy trò HLV Van Gaal từ phía sau. Hay nói chính xác hơn, Carrick giống như một “chiếc công tắc” vạn năng giúp đội bóng thành Manchester dễ dàng chuyển đổi trạng thái từ phòng ngự sang tấn công (hoặc ngược lại) một cách nhanh nhất.

Thực tế cho thấy, việc Schneiderlin và Carrick thường xuyên phải sử dụng nhiều đường chuyền ở cự ly trung bình hoặc dài để thích nghi với lối chơi bóng bổng đặc thù trong môi trường Premier League đã khiến cho cả hai cầu thủ này khó lòng tạo ra được sự đột biến từ khu vực giữa sân. Trong khi đó, bản thân Schweinsteiger lại được hoạt động một cách linh hoạt hơn hẳn dưới hệ thống chiến thuật tiki-taka của Bayern Munich. Điều này cũng có thể xem là nguyên nhân giải thích vì sao ngôi sao người Đức dễ dàng phát huy hiệu quả trong mặt trận tấn công hơn so với hai người đồng nghiệp.

Nhìn chung, cả Schneiderlin lẫn Schweinsteiger đều xứng đáng được xem là những sự lựa chọn chất lượng dành cho hàng tiền vệ M.U vào thời điểm này. Thế nhưng, trong trường hợp phải đưa ra những đánh giá một cách tổng thể, khi mà lối chơi của thầy trò Van Gaal vẫn đang thiếu đi một mỏ neo có khả năng thi đấu toàn diện ở tuyến giữa, đồng nghĩa rằng cái tên Schneiderlin xem chừng sẽ là giải pháp phù hợp hơn đối với đội bóng thành Manchester. Về phần Schweinsteiger, mua một ngôi sao chuẩn bị bước sang tuổi 31 để thay thế cho một “lão tướng” 33 tuổi (Carrick), liệu rằng đây có phải quyết định khôn ngoan của ban lãnh đạo Quỷ đỏ?
