Tuyển Anh sẽ áp dụng công thức vật lý khi đá 11m

Nhằm chấm dứt cơn ác mộng trên chấm phạt đền của đội tuyển Anh, một nhóm sinh viên đã nghiên cứu công thức vật lý để tìm ra cách đá 11m hoàn hảo nhất.

Trong quá khứ, không ít lần đội tuyển Anh phải dừng bước đầy cay đắng sau những loạt luân lưu 11m, tiêu biểu như bán kết World Cup 1990, tứ kết World Cup 2006 và bán kết Euro 1996. Để giúp đỡ cho nước nhà ở VCK Euro 2016 sắp tới, một nhóm sinh viên vật lý tại Leicester đã tìm ra công thức vật lý để giúp Tam sư có thể vượt qua cơn ác mộng trên chấm 11m.
 
Những loạt penalty cân não luôn là cơn ác mộng của ĐT Anh.

Nhóm này đã tính đến kích thước trái bóng, tình trạng không khí và khoảng cách đến mục tiêu để cầu thủ có thể biết cách đá như thế nào nhằm điều chỉnh quỹ đạo bóng có lợi nhất. 
 
Công thức này tính toán quỹ đạo cong của quả bóng (ký hiệu D) có liên quan đến bán kính trái bóng (R), mật độ không khí (ρ), vận tốc góc của quả bóng (ω), vận tốc của nó khi bay trong không khí (v), khối lượng trái bóng (m) và khoảng cách từ quả bóng đến mục tiêu mà cầu thủ muốn đưa bóng đến (x).

Công thức vật lý được cho là có cú penalty hoàn hảo.

Jasmine Sandhu, nghiên cứu sinh vật lý về Khoa học không gian và công nghệ cho biết: "Nhìn công thức có vẻ phức tạo nhưng trên thực tế, bất kỳ một cầu thủ giỏi nào cũng thực hiện rất nhiều lần trong những pha đá phạt trực tiếp hoặc penalty".
 
"Ví dụ nếu một cầu thủ đá quá bóng với khoảng cách đến mục tiêu là 15 mét" - Sandhu giải thích thêm: "Cầu thủ này sút bóng trên đường thẳng với vận tốc 35 mét trên giây, vận tốc góc là 10 vòng mỗi giây thì quả bóng sẽ có quỹ đạo cong khoảng 5 mét khi đến mục tiêu".
 
Nhóm nghiên cứu hy vọng sẽ hoàn thiện công thức này để áp dụng không chỉ trong bóng đá mà còn cho nhiều môn thể thao khác.
