Tuyến giữa M.U: Giải quyết bài toán Carrick như thế nào?

Một trong những nhiệm vụ quan trọng nhất đối với HLV Louis van Gaal ở kỳ chuyển nhượng mùa Hè năm nay chính là khắc phục bài toán mang tên Carrick nơi hàng tiền vệ M.U.

Người ta đã được chứng kiến một M.U khốn đốn như thế nào khi thiếu vắng Michael Carrick trong giai đoạn cuối mùa giải vừa rồi. Từ một đội bóng đang thăng hoa với chuỗi 6 trận thắng liên tiếp ở Premier League, thầy trò HLV Van Gaal đã nhanh chóng sa sút sau khi “lão tướng” người Anh dính chấn thương. Trên thực tế, “Tuy-lip thép” đã lần lượt sử dụng cả Daley Blind lẫn Ander Herrera như những phương án thay thế khả thi dành cho Carrick. Thế nhưng, khi mà cá nhân mỗi cầu thủ này đều tỏ ra hạn chế ở một số điểm nhất định, bài toán tuyến giữa của Quỷ đỏ cũng trở nên nan giải hơn bao giờ hết.

Carrick chính là "yếu nhân" ở hàng tiền vệ M.U

Phải thừa nhận rằng, khả năng điều tiết nhịp độ trận đấu tuyệt vời của Carrick chính là một thứ “đặc sản” vô cùng hiếm hoi trong môi trường bóng đá Anh. So với những tiền vệ theo kiểu “thuần Anh” truyền thống, ngôi sao 33 tuổi không hề sở hữu những ưu thế về mặt thể hình, thể lực hay sức mạnh. Tuy nhiên, điểm nhấn khác biệt lớn nhất giữa Carrick và phần còn lại nằm ở những đường chuyền độc đáo mà cầu thủ này có thể sử dụng như một thứ vũ khí đặc trưng, giúp cho hàng tiền vệ M.U trở nên cơ động và linh hoạt hơn. Nói chính xác thì Carrick chính là mẫu tiền vệ “deep-lying playmaker” (tiền vệ tổ chức lùi sâu), một nhân tố vừa đảm bảo triết lý luân chuyển bóng của HLV Van Gaal, vừa có thể thích nghi trọn vẹn với những yêu cầu khắt khe của nền bóng đá xứ sở sương mù.

Thực tế cho thấy, nếu như Carrick hoàn toàn khỏe mạnh bình thường, tuyến giữa của Quỷ đỏ sẽ không gặp bất kỳ vấn đề gì. Thế nhưng, xét trong bối cảnh M.U không sở hữu bất kỳ một cầu thủ nào đủ sức thay thế cho “lão tướng” người Anh, đồng nghĩa rằng mọi hệ thống chiến thuật của HLV Van Gaal sẽ nhanh chóng “phá sản” nếu như Carrick chẳng may dính chấn thương. Ở độ tuổi 33, cũng thật khó có thể tin tưởng rằng cựu ngôi sao Tottenham sẽ duy trì đủ nền tảng thể lực để chinh chiến xuyên suốt cả mùa giải. Do đó, đánh giá một cách tổng thể, nhiệm vụ quan trọng nhất đối với ban lãnh đạo M.U vào thời điểm này chính là việc phải nhanh chóng tăng cường lực lượng cho đội bóng thành Manchester thông qua các phương án trên TTCN.

Những ngày gần đây, thông tin về việc HLV Van Gaal đưa một số mục tiêu tiềm năng như Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern Munich), Ilkay Guendogan (Dortmund) hay Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton) vào “tầm ngắm” đã được giới truyền thông đăng tải trên khắp các mặt báo châu Âu. Dễ dàng nhận thấy rằng, đây đều là những cầu thủ có xu hướng thi đấu theo phong cách thiên về điều tiết, tổ chức lối chơi, gần tương tự như Carrick. Tuy nhiên, trong trường hợp phải phân tích kỹ lưỡng để tìm ra một cái tên thực sự phù hợp hơn cả dành cho hàng tiền vệ M.U, có lẽ cũng phải điều đơn giản.

Nhìn vào những số liệu thống kê, có thể nhanh chóng nhận ra rằng Schweinsteiger hoàn toàn vượt trội Guendogan và Schneiderlin nếu xét trên khía cạnh tấn công. Theo đó, tiền vệ người Đức không chỉ sở hữu khả năng chuyền bóng hết sức nhịp nhàng mà còn có thể tạo ra sự đột biến cần thiết dựa trên nền tảng nhãn quan chiến thuật vô cùng tuyệt vời. Tính trung bình mỗi trận tại Bundesliga mùa giải vừa rồi, Schweinsteiger thực hiện được 1,3 đường chuyền quan trọng; tạo ra 1,98 cơ hội đồng thời tung ra 55,78 đường chuyền trực diện lên phía trên, một hiệu suất quá đủ để chứng tỏ rằng anh hoàn toàn phù hợp với triết lý kiểm soát bóng linh hoạt mà HLV Van Gaal đang áp dụng tại sân Old Trafford.

Schneiderlin sở hữu những phẩm chất phù hợp với môi trường bóng đá Premier League

Thế nhưng, trong trường hợp phải đánh giá ở góc độ ngược lại, dường như cái tên Morgan Schneiderlin mới là mẫu tiền vệ đủ khả năng mang đến sự cân bằng cần thiết cho hàng tiền vệ M.U. Cụ thể, trên phương diện phòng ngự, ngôi sao người Pháp tỏ ra hoàn toàn áp đảo khi so sánh với hai cái tên đến từ Bundesliga. Trung bình mỗi trận, Schneiderlin tắc bóng thành công 3,25 lần; đánh chặn chuẩn xác 2,59 lần; có 0,19 tình huống cản phá đồng thời thực hiện 1,94 pha phá bóng kịp thời. Thậm chí, tiền vệ người Pháp cũng sở hữu khả năng chuyền bóng hết sức tuyệt vời (tỷ lệ chính xác lên đến 89%). Đây cũng chính là lý do quan trọng giải thích vì sao cầu thủ đang khoác áo Southampton lại được giới chuyên môn đánh giá là một trong những “số 6” hay nhất Premier League vào thời điểm hiện tại. Bên cạnh đó, so với Schweinsteiger hay Guendogan, tiền vệ người Pháp cũng là mẫu cầu thủ có phần “cứng cáp” hơn, vừa không phải đối mặt với gánh nặng tuổi tác (như Schweinsteiger), vừa ít khi dính líu đến các tiền sử chấn thương (như Guendogan). Điểm yếu duy nhất mà Schneiderlin vẫn còn thiếu, có lẽ chỉ là kinh nghiệm thi đấu đỉnh cao mà thôi.

Nhìn chung, cả HLV Van Gaal cũng như ban lãnh đạo M.U đều vẫn còn rất nhiều thời gian để cân nhắc trước khi đưa ra giải pháp cuối cùng trong nhiệm vụ tìm kiếm một cái tên “chia lửa” cùng Carrick. Thực tế cho thấy, mỗi cái tên Schweinsteiger, Guengogan hay Schneiderlin đều sở hữu những ưu điểm hết sức riêng biệt và có thể phù hợp với Quỷ đỏ trong từng thời điểm khác nhau. Trong trường hợp Van Gaal cần đến một tiền vệ kinh nghiệm và bản lĩnh, Schweinsteiger hoàn toàn có thể đáp ứng. Tuy nhiên, Schneiderlin mới chính là phương án phù hợp hơn cả cho những cuộc đua đường dài và thể lực tại Premier League. Còn với Guendogan, tài năng của anh là điều mà không ai có thể phủ nhận nhưng rõ ràng, tiền sử chấn thương dày đặc của cầu thủ người Đức tại Dortmund cũng phần nào khiến cho ban lãnh đạo đội bóng thành Manchester phải dè chừng.
