Atletico và kế hoạch "anti-Messi"

Lionel Messi đã không thể ghi bàn trong 5 trận gặp Atletico ở mùa giải này. Atletico có bí quyết gì không? Diego Simeone sẽ toan tính gì cho đêm nay?

Atletico chỉ cần hòa trong trận “chung kết” La Liga là sẽ vô địch, nhưng Barcelona phải giành chiến thắng bằng bất cứ giá nào. Sức ép cho cả hai bên đều lớn, nhưng khác nhau: Barca chỉ được thắng chứ không được hòa, và họ có lợi thế sân nhà; Atletico không thua là sẽ vô địch, nhưng sẽ phải đá làm sao để giữ quân cho trận chung kết Champions League.

Khởi đầu nan

Diego Simeone, người cầm quân bên phía Atletico, đã gặp Barca 5 lần ở mùa giải này và chưa bị đánh bại một lần nào, chủ yếu nhờ chiến thuật phòng ngự phản công đầy chắc chắn để vô hiệu hóa lối đá bóng ngắn của Barca. Lần nào cũng vậy, Atletico dùng “biển người” tập trung ở trung lộ, khiến Barca không phối hợp ngắn được để đưa bóng tới Messi mà phải chuyển sang tấn công biên. Barca bị Atletico dồn ép vào chỗ phải dùng sở đoản là chơi tạt cánh để đưa bóng vào trong cho Messi, người thường xuyên bị áp đảo trong các pha không chiến.

Tuy nhiên, Messi không phải là cầu thủ tấn công duy nhất mà Barcelona sở hữu, và Atletico trận nào cũng phải nghiên cứu cách chặn ít nhất 3 tiền đạo mà Barca sử dụng trong sơ đồ 4-3-3. Đầu mùa giải, việc ngăn cản Messi của Atletico không dễ dàng lắm trong hai trận tranh Siêu Cúp TBN. Trận đấu đầu tiên, Atletico hòa 1-1 trên sân nhà và họ thành công trong việc vô hiệu hóa Messi vì anh bị chấn thương nhẹ (chỉ đá 45 phút), nhưng Atletico lại không có phương án hữu hiệu để ngăn cản Alexis Sanchez và sau đó là Neymar, người mang tới bàn gỡ hòa rất quan trọng.

Ở trận lượt về, Messi được đồng đội nhồi bóng rất nhiều và thường xuyên đánh bại các hậu vệ Atletico trong các pha 1-đối-1, buộc Simeone yêu cầu các học trò chủ động phạm lỗi với cả hàng tiền đạo Barca, dẫn đến 27 lỗi cho Atletico. Mặc dù Messi không ghi bàn (trượt penalty phút 89), nhưng Atletico lúc đó vẫn chưa thực sự khóa chặt được anh.

Phong tỏa “La Pulga”

Khi mùa giải đi được nửa chặng đường, Diego Simeone đã bắt đầu nắm được cách vô hiệu hóa Messi lẫn cả hàng công Barcelona. Ở trận lượt đi La Liga, sau khi Messi vào sân từ ghế dự bị ở hiệp 2, Simeone huy động cả trung lộ của mình để quây lấy anh, trong khi Filipe Luis bên cánh trái kèm chặt Alexis Sanchez. Simeone cố ý để Barca phải chuyển dịch hướng tấn công sang phía Pedro, người không thể tự xoay xở một mình được và Atletico chỉ cần một người để kèm cầu thủ này là đủ. Atletico hôm đó buộc đội khách trượt 7-trên-9 cú dứt điểm và cầm hòa Barcelona 0-0.

Khi hai đội chạm trán ở tứ kết Champions League, việc hóa giải Messi trở nên khó khăn hơn nhiều bởi Barcelona bỏ dùng bộ ba Messi - Sanchez - Pedro như 3 trận trước để thay bằng Messi - Iniesta - Neymar. Trận lượt đi, họ nhìn chung khống chế được Messi khi phạm lỗi từ xa liên tục (5 lỗi), nhưng không thể chặn được Iniesta và Neymar, trong đó bàn thắng của Neymar xuất phát từ pha chọc khe của Iniesta loại bỏ Juanfran.

Thế nhưng ở trận tứ kết lượt về, Atletico dồn người vào việc khống chế Messi và Neymar, chấp nhận để Iniesta có nhiều bóng vì Iniesta lớn tuổi hơn và chậm nhất trong 3 tiền đạo mà Barcelona sử dụng và do đó dễ đối phó hơn so với Neymar và Messi. Thực chất chiến thuật của Simeone là gì? Rất đơn giản, Barcelona có 3 lựa chọn cho hàng tiền đạo thì Simeone sẽ tìm mọi cách để buộc họ phải dựa vào lựa chọn thứ 3 (tức lựa chọn yếu nhất). Lựa chọn thứ nhất (Messi) và thứ hai (Neymar) sẽ luôn bị phong tỏa, để lại kẻ thứ ba tìm cách xoay xở trong vô vọng trước một hàng phòng ngự dày đặc.
