Sau khi thể hiện phong độ xuất sắc ở trận thắng 3-1 trước Ajax Amsterdam tại vòng bảng Champions League, Javier Mascherano đã để lại dấu ấn mạnh mẽ với HLV Luis Enrique trong vai trò một tiền vệ phòng ngự, vốn là vị trí sở trường của ngôi sao người Argentina…

Mascherano hay Busquets?

Kể từ đầu mùa đến giờ, Barca vẫn vận hành với sơ đồ 4-3-3 quen thuộc. Trong hệ thống này, cũng chỉ có một tiền vệ phòng ngự duy nhất chơi ngay sát với cặp đôi trung vệ phía sau. Đương nhiên, sự lựa chọn số một ở vị trí trên đã thuộc về Sergio Busquets. Do đó, phần lớn trong những lần được tung vào sân, Mascherano đều phải đá trung vệ. Mặc dù vậy, trong cuộc đối đầu gặp Ajax cách đây hơn một ngày, trước chấn thương háng bất ngờ mà tiền vệ người Tây Ban Nha dính phải, Mascherano đã có cơ hội thể hiện khả năng của mình ở “vị trí mới”.

Gần như ngay lập tức, cựu ngôi sao Liverpool đã tái hiện hình ảnh mạnh mẽ và quyết liệt như thời điểm còn thi đấu cho ĐT Argentina tại kỳ World Cup 2014 vừa rồi. Mascherano không chỉ tranh chấp hiệu quả mà còn thu hồi và phát động bóng cực tốt. Thống kê cho thấy, cầu thủ 30 tuổi đã thực hiện tổng cộng 7 cú tắc bóng thành công và 2 tình huống đánh chặn chính xác. Trong số 69 đường chuyền của Mascherano, cũng có tới 63 lần bóng tìm đến đúng địa chỉ (tỷ lệ 91,3%).

Trên thực tế, tiền vệ người Argentina không phải mẫu cầu thủ có những pha xử lý tinh tế và kỹ thuật như Busquets. Tuy nhiên, Mascherano lại tỏ ra hiệu quả hơn trong các tình huống đòi hỏi tốc độ nhanh và sự đơn giản. Trên một khía cạnh nào đó, điều này là cần thiết với Barca bởi dưới thời HLV Luis Enrique, đội bóng xứ Catalonia đang theo đuổi một lối chơi “tiki-taka mới” mang màu sắc trực diện và tốc độ hơn. Thế nhưng, ít nhất ở thời điểm này, vẫn không thể phủ nhận vai trò của Busquets tại sân Nou Camp, cả về chiến thuật lẫn chuyên môn.

Hệ thống “doppio-pivote”

Nói về vị trí của Busquets, ngôi sao người Tây Ban Nha là một dạng tiền vệ tổ chức lùi sâu (pivote), gần giống kiểu Andrea Pirlo tại Juventus (regista) hay Gerrard ở Liverpool (deep-lying playmaker). Tuy nhiên, trong lối chơi tiki-taka điển hình, sự liên kết của Busquets với các tiền vệ vệ tinh là rõ nét hơn hẳn. Mặc dù vậy, trước thềm cuộc đối đầu gặp Real Madrid tại trận El Clasico cuối tuần này, câu hỏi được đặt ra là, liệu một mình cầu thủ 26 tuổi có đủ sức ngăn chặn bộ đôi Kroos và Modric bên phía đội bóng Hoàng gia hay không?

Làm một phép so sánh đơn giản, 2 thì bao giờ cũng hơn 1, khi mà HLV Enrique đang có trong tay hai chuyên gia đánh chặn thuộc vào loại tốt nhất châu Âu, có lẽ nhà cầm quân người Tây Ban Nha cũng không nên ngần ngại sử dụng cả hai nhân tố này ở trận El Clascico, qua đó đảm bảo sự chắc chắn cần thiết cho tuyến giữa của Barca. Mặt khác, với hệ thống “doppio-regista”, đội bóng xứ Catalonia sẽ chẳng phải lo lắng quá nhiều trước các tình huống phản công “vỗ mặt” từ thầy trò Ancelotti, đặc biệt là khi Mascherano vẫn đang duy trì phong độ ổn định.

Barca hoàn toàn có thể sử dụng phương án 'doppio-pivote' với cặp Mascherano-Busquets

Vấn đề duy nhất, có lẽ chỉ là khả năng tấn công của Barca sẽ phần nào bị ảnh hưởng khi mà HLV Enrique phải hy sinh 1 tiền đạo hoặc 1 tiền vệ (Iniesta hoặc Rakitic). Thế nhưng, ngay cả trong trường hợp chỉ chơi với 2 trung phong, hàng công của đội bóng chủ sân Nou Camp vẫn hoàn toàn có thể vận một cách hành hiệu quả nhờ vào sự thăng hoa đến từ bộ đôi Messi-Neymar. Điều quan trọng nhất chính là khả năng duy trì sự cân bằng ở tuyến giữa, nếu như Barca làm được thì thầy trò HLV Enrique sẽ chẳng e ngại gì Real cả.

Kết luận, hệ thống “doppio-pivote” chưa bao giờ được Barca thử nghiệm. Nhưng trong bối cảnh phải đối đầu với một đối thủ có phong độ cao, đội bóng xứ Catalonia hoàn toàn có lý do để “mạo hiểm” với phương án này. Trong trường hợp thành công, phương án này có thể trở thành là một giải pháp mới cho Barca ở những trận đấu lớn, như tại Champions League chẳng hạn.
