 Sự có mặt của tân binh Ivan Rakitic thổi vào FC Barcelona một luồng gió mới với cách chơi đơn giản, có chiều sâu và hiệu quả, cả trong khâu kiến thiết bóng và ghi bàn.

Phải chơi lùi sâu hơn một chút so với khi còn khoác áo Sevilla nhưng được tự do hơn trong màu áo đỏ-xanh, tiền vệ Rakitic đang là một trong những cầu thủ có vị trí chính thức khá ổn định trong đội bóng xứ Catalunya, bởi sự tươi mới mà anh đem lại.

Barca của Luis Enrique vừa thể hiện một khuôn mặt khác hẳn trong trận gặp Granada mới đây, sau cú vấp trước Malaga (hòa 0-0) trước đó, trận đấu mà cả đội bóng không có một ai sút trúng khành đối phương. Sự đổi mới về lối chơi không chỉ được phản ánh bằng cú hat-trick của Neymar hay cú đúp ghi bàn và chuyền bóng thành bàn của Leo Messi mà còn ở pha chớp thời cơ đánh đầu của Rakitic làm tung lưới đối phương.

Ngoài cặp bài trùng Messi-Neymar, Barca đang chứng minh họ có nhiều giải pháp tấn công khác từ các cầu thủ trẻ hay từ tuyến hai, đặc biệt là từ tiền vệ người Croatia. Thí dụ mới nhất là bàn thắng bằng đầu của Rakitic trước Granada, sau khi nhận được một đường chuyền từ nỗ lực tuyệt vời của Messi trong pha dốc bóng xuống sát vạch vôi gần khung thành đội khách. Đây là bàn thắng thứ hai cho Barca của tân binh đến từ Sevilla. Cả hai bàn của Rakitic đều là những siêu phẩm, thể hiện sức mạnh và khả năng chọn vị trí tuyệt vời.

Rakitic đến sân Nou Camp với ý đồ đóng góp vào khâu kiến tạo lối chơi và tạo ra những đường chuyền quyết định cho các sát thủ ở tuyến trên. Tuy nhiên, anh còn là một cầu thủ có khả năng ghi bàn rất tốt, được chứng minh bằng 15 bàn thắng cùng Sevilla ở mùa bóng vừa qua, trong đó có 12 bàn tại La Liga.

Chỉ có khác là dưới sự dẫn dắt của Unai Emery, cầu thủ người Croatia được chơi cao hơn trong khi với Luis Enrique cầu thủ này chơi lùi sâu hơn một chút, với nhiệm vụ chủ yếu là tổ chức tấn công chứ không phải dứt điểm.

Nên nhớ ở mùa bóng trước, toàn bộ các tiền vệ của Barcelona cũng không có số bàn thắng bằng Rakitic ở Sevilla (15) , bởi Xavi chỉ ghi 4 bàn, Iniesta 3, Rafinha 4 và Busquets 3, tổng cộng là 14 bàn. Dù chơi ở vị trí hộ công hay tiền vệ trụ, tân binh của Barca luôn biết cách xuất hiện đúng lúc ở những vị trí có thể bắn phá khung thành đối phương.

Có một cựu tiền vệ của Barca có thể so sánh về khả năng ghi bàn với Rakitic, đó là Cesc Fabregas. Tuy nhiên, cựu đội trưởng của Arsenal, khi còn khoác áo đội chủ sân Nou Camp, thường được xếp chơi ở một trí dễ tiếp cận với cầu môn đối phương hơn, đó là "số 9 ảo". Dù vậy, ở mùa bóng vừa qua, Cesc cũng chỉ ghi được 13 bàn thắng, trong khi với vai trò hộ công, Rakitic ghi được 15 bàn, như đã nói ở trên.

Bên cạnh những Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Barca còn có nhiều vũ khí tấn công khác, từ những cầu thủ trẻ và từ những tân binh, trong đó đương nhiên phải kể đến Rakitic.
