Atletico Madrid đang tiệm cận tới sự thực dụng hoàn hảo

Hạ Bayern Munich một cách đầy thuyết phục, “cỗ máy” Atletico Madrid cho thấy mình đang dần đạt đến sự hoàn hảo của trường phái chơi bóng thực dụng.

Ai cần kiểm soát bóng?

Lại một lần nữa Bayern Munich bại trận trước Atletico Madrid khi 2 đội chạm trán nhau ở Champions League. Một trong những đội bóng mạnh nhất thế giới, sở hữu những siêu sao đẳng cấp và quan trọng hơn là trải qua 2 đời HLV đỉnh cao như Pep Guardiola và Carlo Ancelotti nhưng đều chỉ có một kết cục. Ở trận đấu vừa qua, Atletico của Diego Simeone chứng minh họ vẫn là đội bóng của một năm trước, có chăng chỉ là chất thực dụng và độ nhuần nhuyễn trong lối chơi ngày càng rõ rệt hơn mà thôi.

Cách triển khai của đội chủ sân Vicente Calderon vẫn như mọi khi với việc tập trung lùi sâu đội hình về phần sân nhà. Tại đây, 3 hàng ngang của họ chơi với cự ly cực kỳ hẹp để hạn chế không gian chơi bóng của đối thủ. Tuy nhiên, điểm nhấn trong cách vận hành này là khả năng di chuyển, tranh chấp khủng khiếp của các học trò Diego Simeone.

Cầu thủ Atletico đá cực kỳ máu lửa

Lấy ví dụ với các tiền đạo, đây là vị trí thường xuyên “đứng chơi” khi đội nhà phải phòng ngự nhưng đó là câu chuyện hoàn toàn ngược lại ở Atletico. Bộ đôi tiền đạo bao giờ cũng phải là người đuổi theo đối thủ đầu tiên vì họ có nhiệm vụ che chắn ngăn không cho đối phương thoải mái cầm bóng ở khu trung lộ. Nhìn cái cách Fernando Torres, Antoine Griezmann hay Kevin Gameiro thi đấu hôm qua người ta hiểu vì sao Bayern lại bế tắc tới vậy.

Từ việc phong tỏa trung lộ cực kỳ chắc chắn, Atletico ép đối thủ phải chuyền lòng vòng, bấm bóng dài một cách vô vọng và cuối cùng là xuống biên. Ở 2 cánh, mọi đường tấn công đều bị dập tắt bởi Felipe Luis và Juanfran với sự chắc chắn và cực kỳ tinh quái. Không phải ngẫu nhiên Simeone thường bố trí những tiền vệ trung tâm như Saul đá cánh bởi ông muốn tận dụng khả năng di chuyển và phòng ngự của họ.

Bayern bế tắc vì không có khoảng trống

Bayern vốn nổi tiếng là đội có rất nhiều cầu thủ chạy cánh chất lượng như Frank Ribery, Arjen Robben hay sát thủ khoảng trống như Thomas Muller, tuy nhiên tất cả bọn họ đều bất lực trước sự bọc lót kín kẽ của hàng thủ Atletico.

Đó cũng chính là lí do vì sao Hùm xám có tỷ lệ kiểm soát bóng lên tới 77% ở trận đấu này. Họ đá sân khách nhưng là đội dâng cao. Chỉ có điều, dâng cao nhưng lại không dồn ép được đối thủ vốn đã co lại kiên cố trên sân nhà. Việc cầm nhiều bóng cũng không hề tạo ra tính hiệu quả nếu xét trên số cơ hội của 2 đội và cuối cùng là bàn thắng. Nếu như Bayern tung ra 15 pha dứt điểm ở trận này thì Atletico với 33% thời gian cầm bóng có tới 16 pha dứt điểm, 2 lần đưa bóng dội khung gỗ, bỏ lỡ 1 quả penalty nếu không họ còn thắng đậm hơn. Quả là một sự thực dụng và hiệu quả đến khủng khiếp. Vậy câu hỏi được đặt ra ở đây là: Kiểm soát bóng để làm gì?

Sự thực dụng hoàn hảo

Atletico Madrid từ những năm qua đã luôn duy trì lối chơi như vậy. Triết lý của Diego Simeone là rất rõ ràng: Không bị thủng lưới là ưu tiên số một. Chẳng thế mà đội bóng áo đỏ trở thành tập thể có thành tích phòng ngự tốt nhất nhì Châu Âu ở mùa giải năm ngoái. Simeone thừa hiểu rằng khi trong tay ông chỉ có những cầu thủ với chất lượng trung bình khá, kim chỉ nam để tồn tại là phòng ngự giỏi rồi sau đó mới tính đến chuyện phản công. Và chính chiến thuật 4-4-2 đặc trưng của vị HLV này là thứ đã kéo gần khoảng cách chênh lệch về trình độ cầu thủ giữa Atletico và những siêu đội bóng như Barcelona, Real Madrid hay Bayern Munich.

Simeone đang dần nâng tầm Atletico

Atletico không được nhiều người hâm mộ vì họ cho rằng lối đá của đội bóng này quá xấu xí và nhàm chán. Điều đó chỉ đúng trên góc độ... người xem, còn với người làm chuyên môn, những trận đấu của đoàn quân dưới sự dẫn dắt bởi Diego Simeone là những thước phim tư liệu mẫu mực về chuyên môn. Atletico chơi phòng ngự phản công chủ động, cách họ triển khai bóng lên trên bằng những đường chuyền ngắn và gọn gàng chính xác là những gì người ta thường nói về “sách giáo khoa bóng đá”.

Trên hết, điều quý báu của những cầu thủ bình dân ấy nằm ở việc họ chịu di chuyển đến không biết mệt mỏi và tuân thủ chiến thuật tuyệt đối. Không phải ngẫu nhiên mà vừa qua tiền vệ Augusto Fernandez đứt dây chằng hay sau trận Bayern trung vệ Diego Godin có vấn đề về cơ đùi. Tất cả bởi vì họ đã di chuyển quá nhiều và chiến đấu không biết mệt mỏi để đảm bảo đúng yêu cầu về mặt chiến thuật.

Atletico cầm ít bóng hơn nhưng lại có nhiều cơ hội hơn

Hãy cùng nhớ lại trận đấu vừa qua giữa Chelsea và Arsenal ở Premier League. Trong bàn thắng thứ 2 của Theo Walcott, Eden Hazard lẽ ra phải là người theo kèm Hector Bellerin khi cầu thủ này dâng cao và tạt vào trong, tuy nhiên tiền vệ người Bỉ chỉ... đứng nhìn đồng đội tuyến dưới và chạy về khi quá muộn.

Có ý kiến cho rằng những siêu sao tấn công cỡ như Hazard thì có thể được miễn trừ nhiệm vụ lui về phòng ngự bởi đó được xem như sự mạo hiểm cần thiết. Nếu nghĩ như vậy thì có lẽ nên xem Antoine Griezmann thi đấu và nhìn cách tiền đạo này lui về hỗ trợ phòng ngự, áp sát từ tuyến đầu nhưng vẫn tự mình kiến tạo và ghi bàn. Có lẽ nhìn Griezmann đá như vậy, những cầu thủ kiểu Hazard nên cảm thấy xấu hổ.

Cuối cùng, Simeone xứng đáng với chiến thắng không chỉ bởi sự thực dụng hoàn hảo của ông, mà còn ở việc chuẩn bị vô cùng chuyên nghiệp và kỹ lưỡng cho cuộc đối đầu với Bayern. Ở phần họp báo sau trận, HLV người Argentina lí giải cho việc dùng Torres chứ không phải Gameiro ngay từ đầu bởi ông muốn tiền đạo này kèm sát Alonso còn Griezmann sẽ “chăm sóc” Vidal. Khi 2 ngòi nổ quan trọng nơi tuyến giữa liên tục bị quấy nhiễu, Bayern khó mà triển khai thế trận theo ý mình. Đó chỉ là một tính toán nhỏ nhưng cho thấy cái tầm của Simeone từ khả năng đọc trận đấu đến việc nghiên cứu kỹ đối thủ.
