Trận Milan vs Lazio đã kết thúc đầy viên mãn với đội chủ nhà khi họ giành chiến thắng 2-0 trong ngày cặp tiền đạo già-trẻ Ibrahimovic và Leao đều nổ súng.

Milan bước vào trận đấu này với mục tiêu phải thắng để vươn lên ngôi đầu bảng. Tuy nhiên, thách thức dành cho họ không nhỏ khi Lazio cũng đã giành trọn vẹn 6 điểm sau 2 vòng đầu.

Ở phút bù giờ thứ 6, Milan thậm chí có cơ hội nhân đôi cách biệt ngay trong hiệp 1 nhưng cú sút penalty theo phong cách Simone Zaza của Franck Kessie đã đưa bóng đi đập trúng xà ngang đầy đáng tiếc. Đây là pha lập công đầu tiên của Ibra kể từ tháng 3 năm nay. Ngoài ra, Ibrahimovic (39 tuổi, 344 ngày) trở thành ngoại binh lớn tuổi nhất ghi bàn trong lịch sử giải đấu cao nhất xứ sở mỳ ống. Bàn thắng này còn đánh dấu cột mốc ghi bàn trong 26 mùa giải của cựu cầu thủ Man Utd.

Thắng chung cuộc với cách biệt 2 bàn trước Lazio, Milan cùng có được 9 điểm như Napoli và Roma khi cả ba đều toàn thắng 3 vòng đầu tiên. Giữa tuần sau đội bóng áo sọc đỏ đen sẽ hành quân đến Anfield để chạm trán Liverpool trong khuôn khổ vòng bảng Champions League.
